Book Review: What is Life

Book Author: Schrodinger

This is an insightful book because of its prescience. Without knowing what DNA was Schrodinger captures the essence of what it must be.

Really, this book talks about life in a scientific and physical way rather than presuming life is somehow special. Its shocking to think that less than a century ago the fact that life obeys the same physical laws as everything else, was a matter of debate. Mind boggling!

Its worth a skim but most of the information in this book is, to me, common knowledge. Interesting to see the thoughts of a brilliant man though, there is always that.
