2023 Q3 Typical Day
Thought I’d share out what a typical day looks like.
- 0700: wake + pre-workout 12 oz water + pre-workout mix (similar to Bryan Johnson’s green giant)
- 0715 - 0745: workout
- 0745 - 0815: protein shake (shakeology) + Grooming (brush teeth / dress / shower / etc.)
- 0815 - 0900: Study (AI / Startups)
- 0900 - 1200: Block 1*
- 1200 - 1230: Lunch (5 - 10 m) + Walk (audiobook or chat) or Game with Team
- 1230 - 1430: Block 2*
- 1430 - 1500: Break (walk or commute)
- 1500 - 1830: Block 3*
- 1830 - 2000: Dinner + Brush Teeth + Walk + Show
- 2000 - 2230: Study
- 2230 - 0700: Sleep
*Blocks are split by “bio breaks” – everytime before I sit down I pound 12 oz of water, than I take a micro break when I need to use the restroom, this insures I stand up every 1-2 hours
*Note, while I exercise I’m either also socializing or studying via audiobook so a few books a month is very doable depending on how dense it is
Few other notes in the week:
- Saturday is similar, but my work blocks go into home projects, study, or LL overtime in that order.
- Sunday we do a two hour hike, 2-3 hours of meal prep, then we plan our week together, and the evening is reserved for leisure.
- One night a week I have a game night.
I do have a routine on a broader scale as well (monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, annual) I can go into more detail if interested. I do intend to specifically followup on what my longevity system is i.e. what metrics I assess against.
