I spurn the “make X more efficient” mentality. The best inventions are wildly inefficiently implemented but unlock explosive super powers that never existed before. I want to create jets not faster horses. Most founders focus on incremental efficiencies. Groups like Fractal, companies like Uber and Airbnb.
People love simple linear ideas, but major technological changes are threshold events. How do we get more folks interested in this?
